Select physical page numbers
The numbered buttons refer to positions in the input PDF, not its printed page labels. Select the pages to delete; at least one page must remain. There are no preview thumbnails, so compare the selection with the original in a viewer before proceeding.
The handler copies retained pages into a new PDF in their original relative order. It remaps navigation to retained pages and removes local destinations to deleted pages rather than substituting a different target.
What happens to bookmarks and opening actions
Valid retained names and bookmarks are rebuilt. A dead bookmark is pruned, or kept only as a non-clickable heading when it has surviving children. A local OpenAction targeting a deleted page is removed; supported remote actions retain their remote meaning. Annotation ownership is checked against the retained pages.
The saved output is reopened and validated before download. AcroForm structures, linked annotations and unsupported or ambiguous navigation can cause rejection. Chains involving deleted local targets are not silently shortened.
Check the result, keep the original
Synthetic Node tests covered first, middle and last deletions, a one-page remaining output, geometry and target cleanup. They do not establish secure erasure, signature validity or visual fidelity. Reopen the result to verify both page selection and links.
Removal is processed in local browser memory with no delete-pages server upload. The site still requests web resources. Memory limits and damaged or encrypted inputs can prevent completion.
